Cratch

Paul has made a lovely job of the joinery for the cratch. This is the sapele framework ready for varnishing and glazing.

Steps

We've made a prototype of some alternating tread steps to see how they work in the aft entrance.

A boat built at a distance

We're building this narrowboat for Lynne and Dennis who are in Australia and will be until the end of the build. We've had lots of conversations and have a clear idea of how they want the boat to look. On the outside it will be white will bold colourful signpainting and illustrations. The inside will be cosy in oak with lots of burgundy upholstery and brass fittings but with a bright clean white kitchen.
Photos and images to follow shortly.
